Please Leave a Heart for My Wife — and the Life We’re Still Building Together

Please leave a heart for my wife — and for the life we’re still building together. ❤️

We took this photo while sitting in a waiting room, just passing time.

Uncomfortable chairs.
A quiet room.
Someone slowly turning the pages of a magazine nearby.

Nothing about the moment was remarkable — except that it was ours.

I leaned my head toward hers without thinking. That’s just where it belongs. No effort. No hesitation. Just instinct. Just love that knows its place.

This Is My Wife

She has been through more than most people will ever know.

There are stories written in her eyes that she doesn’t speak aloud. Strength shaped by seasons that demanded more than felt fair. And yet, when I look at her, I don’t see struggle.

I see the woman who laughed with me in that waiting room.
The one who squeezed my hand when no one was watching.
The one who chooses hope — even on the days when it would be easier not to.

She carries herself with a quiet bravery. The kind that doesn’t ask for recognition. The kind that simply keeps going.

Learning to Treasure the Ordinary

Life has taught us not to rush past the small things.

We’ve learned to treasure ordinary moments:

  • Sitting close

  • Sharing a look

  • Feeling grateful for what we have right now

Because sometimes “right now” is enough.

Not every chapter is loud or exciting. Some chapters are written in waiting rooms, whispered conversations, and silent prayers. And those chapters matter just as much.

A Faith That Carries Us Gently

Our faith has carried us — quietly.

Not loudly.
Not dramatically.

Just with presence.

With love that stays when answers don’t come quickly.
With grace found in simple places like a chair beside someone you love.
With peace that settles in when you lean your head where it belongs.

We don’t always know what comes next. But we know who we walk beside. And that has been enough to carry us through.

A Simple Ask From Our Hearts

If you’re reading this, we would truly appreciate your prayers.

For peace.
For patience.
For many more normal days together.

And if you’re able, please leave a heart below — so we can feel that love surrounding us, even from afar.

Sometimes the smallest gestures mean the most. ❤️
