Eight Years Old. Fourteen Months of Fighting. And Grayson Keeps Going

Eight years old.
Fourteen months of fighting.
And Grayson keeps going.

After brain cancer.
After surgery.
After a journey no child should ever have to walk — Grayson keeps showing up.

He keeps trying.
He keeps believing.
He keeps moving forward, one brave step at a time.

A Moment of Hope — and a Fight That Continues

In October, Grayson’s scans came back clear.

No growth.
No returning tumors.

Words that bring relief, gratitude, and a breath many families wait endlessly to take.

But the fight is not over.

Recovery doesn’t end when scans are clear. Healing continues long after the operating room lights dim. Occupational therapy and physical therapy are now part of Grayson’s everyday life as he works hard to regain mobility affected by surgery.

Some days are exhausting.
Some days are frustrating.
Every day requires courage.

Never Walking Alone

Grayson never walks this road by himself.

His family is beside him for every appointment.
Every therapy session.
Every moment of waiting and hoping that never truly stops.

They celebrate progress — even the smallest victories. They hold space for the hard days. And they keep believing, together, even when the road ahead feels long.

Still Full of Life

Through it all, Grayson is still very much Grayson.

He’s a second-grader now.
He loves to dance.
He loves to swim.
He proudly collects WWE items.

His family lovingly calls him “outlandish.”
And through everything, they still smile.

Because joy hasn’t left him.
Because laughter still finds its way in.
Because childhood, even when interrupted, still matters.

A Simple Ask From the Heart

Grayson’s story is one of resilience, strength, and quiet determination. But it’s also a reminder of how much love and support matter on this journey.

If you can, please say a prayer.

For strength when therapy is hard.
For healing in ways both seen and unseen.
For peace for Grayson and his family as they continue this road together.

Because eight years old is far too young for such a fight — and yet Grayson keeps going. 💛
